Being a Google Nobody

Just read a interesting article on Loic Lemeur blog a few minutes ago, and decided to come back blogging again.  So you will hear more from me going forward.

The article is about the importance of having a Google friendly name and show in search results.  I did the experience and my name showed in first position, not with this blog but with my dot page (the one I created when I was a lot younger and expressing my interest in Goth and Indus music – not really pro?-), second position was my linked in profile. Honour is safe, no ex boyfriend used the internet to trash my reputation as an Internet professional or publish pictures I wished never were taken :)

So if one day, I am back on the job market I need to make sure I am all over Google or alternatively I can finance my own PPC campaign and sell Aurelia Noel as a great Internet marketing product.

This to say, I always thought blogging was about writing long articles and say things that matter, I may be wrong. I can share articles I like, future trends I see, best practices I experience, good conferences I go to.

Or in pure Loic style talk about great people like Mr Sarkozy or only say a few words on why I like my (not so funky) PC
